      Discovery: Final Approach Movie (13.41 MB)

SHOW SEQUENCES:

  • Attract Sequence - Continuous loop of graphics and audio; calls visitors' attention to the exhibit. Guest moves joystick to start the show.

  • Training Sequence - Hosted by "Roger", this short set of audio-visual screens is the "pre-flight briefing" that teaches the guest the basics of flying the Shuttle.

  • Flight Sequence - The actual landing attempt.

  • Wrap-up Sequence - "Roger" delivers a light-hearted instant replay and assessment of the results of the landing attempt. The show then returns to the Attract sequence.

  • 2.8GHz Pentium IV or better

  • Windows XP Pro

  • 512MB RAM

  • AGP 4x/8x w/ 128MB Graphics Card

  • For 2 screens (glass cockpit display), duplicate above and add 100 Mb/sec Ethernet
