Space Exploration Training Arcade
Guests
arrive at the entrance of the SPACE EXPLORATION TRAINING
ARCADE (SETA) where a captivating world of discovery and
adventure awaits them.
The Space Exploration Training Arcade
(SETA) is a modular educational gaming adventure for museums!
The SETA consists of a set of simulations
or games aimed at showcasing space exploration activities from
Earth to the International Space Station and to the Moon and
Mars.
A few
of the features are:
-
An
exciting journey into space via hands-on simulations/games.
-
Cue
areas with graphic panels with fun facts and photo
opportunity areas.
-
Simulations can be randomly experienced or conducted in
flight order of Earth to International Space Station (ISS)
to Moon to Mars and of launch through landing.

Fast Facts:
-
High throughput. The 16-person single seat/station
configuration of the SETA, creates 192 guest experiences per
hour.
-
3-5 minute experiences.
-
The 1200 square foot configuration can accommodate 16 or 32
guests depending upon theming and guest spacing and flow. The
configuration is also modular and consists of 4 equal modules.
As many modules as desired can be chosen for a facilities’
footprint or budget.
-
Designed and fabricated to rugged standards for durability.
-
Visual and audio effects immerse guests in the astronaut
adventure. The simulations feature photo-realistic space
scenes, accurate representations of instruments, and hi-fidelity
operational characteristics.
-
Other optional hands-on
elements can be easily incorporated.
-
Can be configured as an add-on museum experience or outfitted
with bill collectors for revenue generation.
-
No staffing is required.
-
Electrical components.
-
Ventilation.
-
Power distribution.
-
Approximately
90 days to complete unit.
-
One year warranty on custom components.
-
Manufacturers warranty on off-the-shelf items.
-
Simulators can support activities,
camps, summer programs, camp-ins, and much more.
-
All components are
designed to rugged
standards for durability.
-
Created by an
experienced design team in space-related education, exhibits and
simulations: Design Force, Binary Star and Creative CYNERGY.
