What is Informal Education?

Informal education is learning outside of formal education or school settings in subjects such as art, history or science.  Informal science education can provide understanding, stimulation, motivation and appreciation of science, math, engineering and technology. Informal learning takes place in a variety of environments including museums and media as well as in the community and the home.

Are there ever any discounts on exhibits, simulators or software?

Volume discounts may apply. 

We will always work with you and your budget.  Sometimes we can adjust materials or the exhibit itself to assist with budget issues.

We will also have rotating specials on various simulators and software throughout the year.  Please refer to the "Specials" page for current offerings.

What other costs might be involved in an exhibit or simulator project?

Additionally, and assessed on a per project basis are:

a.      -Design Fees (for custom work)

b.      -Site Prep Fees (if needed)

c.      -Shipping, Handling and Crating

d. I    -Installation Fees

What warranties are carried on the exhibits?

·        -One-year warranty on custom components

·        -Manufacturers warranty on off-the-shelf items

Are there extended warranties?

·    Yes, we can provide extended warranties.

Do you carry extended maintenance?

Yes, for a negotiated fee and period of time, we will maintain the exhibit.

Can you convert exhibits and simulators to International power?

Yes, we have had no problems adapting our exhibits and simulators for international power.

What else should I know about purchasing from outside the U.S.?

All shipping is F.O.B. for all products. All freight must be prepaid by customer. All customs will be taken care of by customer.

Do you have other exhibits that are NOT listed?

Yes.  Besides custom creations, we also have relationships with other simulator manufacturers as well as virtual reality programmers, exhibit developers, etc.  We want to use our expertise to help you have the most cutting edge products out there or simply help you achieve the most for your budget.

Do you do customize any of your camps or programs?

Yes.  While we offer camps and programs with core curriculum and equipment, they can be customized around the core to reflect the vision of your facility.

Can I place my exhibit, simulator or software in the MuseumWorx™ listings?
