& FLY YOUR NAME ON THE ISS

Live
From NASA
– Guests will see what is going on at NASA via live feeds
from NASA Centers, tracking the ISS, sighting the ISS from home,
viewing landing tracks, observe launch and landing weather, asking
those "in the know",
and seeing some of the REAL experiment data coming directly from
the ISS via NASA's TReK telescience software. Guests will
also find more information and fun educational interactives from
NASA, ISS partner and other space related websites. A
large screen projection will show NASA TV on a continuing basis.
To
view the Live From Space Station™ TReK display as seen in the
exhibit:

Verify
that you are using Internet Explorer 3.0 or later.

Select
all security settings to enable ActiveX controls.

Click
on the link in step 6 and follow the directions for steps 4
and 5.

When
prompted to download the "unsigned control" select
Yes.

If
prompted to replace .dll files or reboot your computer select
No.

Keep
in mind that this display was built specifically for a 19"
monitor using 1280x1024 screen resolution. It will work fine on
other monitor sizes but may look a bit bulky.


Fly
Your Name in Space
– Guests
can enter their name in Charlotte, NC to fly on Shuttle Flight
STS-111 to the real International Space Station and become a part
of history. (Subsequent flights must be arranged by each
hosting venue. See Paul Ripley for details.) The
kiosk can also be used to run virtual tours of the ISS or other
interactive software.
