THEATERS
Space
Shuttle Theater
- A scaled mock-up of the Space Shuttle flight deck is docked with
a module of the ISS. Inside, 8-10 guests feel what it is like to
launch in a Space Shuttle as it heads for space station. Rumble
speakers and possible special effects will complete the
experience. Rear projection of the images will be on a standard
rear projection screen. The theater allows wheelchair access. The
interior and exterior of the theater provide graphic panels that
tell the story of the Space Transportation System.

Crew
Return Vehicle And Cargo Vehicles –
Guests
will learn about the Soyuz TM vehicle and the Crew Return Vehicle
(CRV) as well as learn about the importance of other logistics
vehicles for the ISS through graphic panels.
Then, guests “return to Earth” via the CRV theater.
Guests enter (and exit) at the rear of a CRV mock-up that
is a 4-person theater and lay on reclining couches similar to what
is concepted for the CRV.
Guest's
journey begins as the CRV is released from the ISS, enters
Earth’s atmosphere and safely lands using a parachute.
Rumble speakers accentuate this brief journey.
Other guests and wheelchairs may pull up to the rear of the
theater to view the experience.
